Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms happened to be quite large, like a suite on the top floor with lots of windows, a bit of a view, and a couch and chairs, making it really spacious. The overall decor was beautiful and way over the top compared to a holiday inn.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable, offering a fine experience. The service from the staff was exceptional, so nice and helpful, making me feel well taken care of throughout my stay. The location was outstanding, within easy walking distance to the Old Market area and surrounded by great dining options. The dining experience was good overall, although improvements could be made to prevent running out of items. The facilities were well-maintained and added to the overall enjoyment of my stay.
The hotel offers a mix of positive and negative aspects. The rooms have a retro look, with great windows giving a city feel, but some had peeling wallpaper and wobbly beds. The service was impressive overall, despite a slight hiccup with room allocation. The location is excellent for exploring the downtown area, although proximity to emergency services could be bothersome. The dining experience varied from a limited cold buffet to an excellent selection reminiscent of southern European breakfasts.
